Welcome 2012!

Happy New Year! What a year we have had! It is hard to believe that this picture was taken right around this time last year!

Exactly one year ago today we brought Ellie home from the hospital!

And two days later we were able to bring home Jack too!

The babies (and mommy) have had a busy few months. We had a very quiet Christmas this year because the kids were sick. They had hand, foot and mouth disease and were unable to attend any Christmas festivities. So we were home for everything :( Luckily they are feeling much better now and are in good spirits.

The babies continue to do well. They continue to get bigger and do new things all the time. Ellie is practically walking up a storm and Jack is not far behind. They are also talking lots of baby talk. They did start daycare part time last week. They are attending Red Balloon in Delran two days per week. It is quite an adjustment for all of us, but I can't believe how hard it is on me. I cried Thursday when I dropped them off, and I am the parent that calls to check on them each day! Ellie apparently does not deal well with change (just like her mother!) and is not liking it too much right now. I am hoping in time she learns to love it. I keep hearing they will, but we are not there yet, and it is so hard for me to drop them off -- I worry all day. I am not looking forward to this Thursday.

We head to the developmental clinic on Friday and have their 15 month appointment on Tuesday. We are hoping for good news! I will try to update next week with how the daycare is going and our doctor appointments.
