The day we left for vacation we had Cole's first birthday party. Both babies were very well behaved on such a hot day! We all had a great time before heading down to Sea Isle City.
The babes first vacation was to Sea Isle City, New Jersey. We were really looking forward to spending time with family and for all the kids to hang out. We rented a house with my sisters, parents and the O'Brien family. It was a baby filled house! Baby Charlie, Patrick and the twins all got to hang out everyday! It was certainly not a relaxing vacation. In fact, I didn't even read one page of a book or magazine! We went to a lot of different places and even took the babes to the beach a few days. It is so different going to the beach with 2 babies! They require so much stuff! Long gone are the days of just my beach chair and a good book! It was so peaceful at the beach, now it is filled with constantly moving/adjusting the babies.
Jack and Ellie are both giving kisses now and Aunt Sally LOVES it! Everyone had a great time with the kids! Both babies even had one tooth each break through....which was the reason behind a very sleep deprived night!
We even had a visit from Granny, Pop and Laura while we were away!
We went to the Aquarium in Atlantic City, the Cape May Zoo, and the Ocean City Boardwalk.
We even had a little party to celebrate the upcoming birth of their new cousin!
Mike and I went to dinner one night after a long day!

The babies have learned to play together. They are not always nice to each other, but are really starting to interact with each other. Jack loves Ellie's hair, he loves to grab a big handful of it and pull. Ellie loves to grab Jack's face and steal his pacifier out of his mouth! Mike and I have learned that we can no longer walk out of the room when the two of them are playing. The babies are also very close to crawling! They are starting to get up on all fours and rock back and forth. Mike and I are not ready for moving babies yet! We need to child proof the house!
