It has been so long since I have posted. We have been so busy!!! I am on my way to Las Vegas and figured this is a good time to write!
So the kids turned 2 in October. They amaze us everyday with new words and things they are doing. Right now they are starting to sing songs. They seem to suddenly know all the words to songs we have been to singing to them over the years. (twinkle twinkle)
We had a small birthday party for them in the new house. The kids are loving all the room! They each now have their own room and adjusted great.
We have done so many things over the past few months. We went to Johnsons's farm and picked pumpkins and went on a hayride. The kids loved picking their own pumpkin!
The kids were a chick (Jack) and a pig (Ellie) for Halloween. They loved their costumes! We went to Sesame Place for Halloween and saw Elmo and all his friends. We also went to the zoo and went trick or treating. Both Jack & Ellie loved all the places . I have actually found it getting easier for me to take them places.
We went trick or treating around the new neighbor and met some more neighbors. We actually went with Charlie, Katie and Steve because they still were without power from Sandy. We also went with our neighbors which was nice.
We go to wood park a lot and play on their jungle gym there. I have realized though that I am afraid for myself when Jack gets to be 5 or so. From going to the park I am able to see how really rough little boys can be. This scares the heck out of me! I guess growing up with all girls you never see this!
We just had breakfast with Santa (I know super early!!) this past Saturday and then sat on Santa's lap at the cherry hill mall. The kids LOVED Santa!!! I am getting so excited for this Christmas because I think the kids will so into it!! It is going to be so much fun!!!
In our new house we have a huge yard!!! Lots and lots of leaves to clean up. Luckily Mike and the kids like the leaves. I think all three could spend all day out there! Jack and Ellie were rolling in the leaves and throwing them everywhere!
Right now Jack and Ellie are with Pop and Granny for a few days while Mike & I are on our way to Vegas to celebrate our 4 year anniversary, Sally turning 30 this year and my mom turning 60. I am hoping to take a lot of pictures in case I can't "remember" everything! Haha. Sadly Katie & Steve are unable to join us! But we will just have to make sure we have enough fun for them!!
Hoping to post soon!!!

All good news!
So we went to the developmental clinic on Friday and we got all good news!!! We saw Dr. Kelly- who we love!! She was the first neonatologist that we met at virtua and actually delivered Jack & Ellie. It is so nice to see her and the kids love her too! (I like to think they know she helped bring them into this world!) Mike and I credit her with saving Jack's life!! He was the sickest baby in the NICU on 10-10-10 and now he is just a regular kid! Sounds funny even saying that!!
Anyway developmentally they are on, if not ahead of where they should be! Can you believe it??? Ahead??? What go-getters! They are very skinny kids- Ellie in 10% for weight and Jack in the 25%! But they are very tall!!! Both are in the 90% for height!!! Now this is based on 18 months - but still!!!
So we go back one final time in January! We do have the NICU reunion in September - we are really looking forward to that!
After the clinic we went to Sesame Place- what a blast!!! I posted some pictures below!! We were fortunate to have our own personal tour guide- since Katie goes about 1x per week we were in the know for everything! Looking forward to going back very soon!!
The next day we took them to the zoo! It was a hot one- but they loved it! We saw lots of animals and they both touched the goat at the petting zoo! Looking forward to hopefully going back this Sunday!
Jack is home today with me since he has a virus! Hoping he gets better very soon and Ellie does not catch it!!!

A few new things
So Jack had tubes put in his ears last Monday. He handled the surgery and recovery great! He bounced back to his normal self plus more!!! Now he is talking up a storm!!! It is the cutest thing!!!
Jack and Ellie got all dressed up for some birthday parties on Saturday!! The both looked adorable!! See pictures below!!!
Jack also had his first haircut today by Sally O (or grand aunt Sally) or as we all call her- Sally! He did great!!! Now he looks like a little boy!!!
We have an appointment on Friday with the developmental clinic and also plan on taking the kids to Sesame Place!!! I am so excited to take them because they love Elmo and Sesame Street!!! We also plan on going to the Zoo on Saturday- we are members and need to start going more often!!!
I will hopefully post pictures next weekend!

We have been busy!!!!! We have had a crazy last few months! Laura got married and Jack & Ellie got all dressed up!!!
Here are some photos from the past few months! As you can tell the kids are getting so big!!! They are no longer babies anymore and are turning into little people- we love to see them grow and change everyday!!
So far developmentally they are on track! It is a blessing!!!! Medically they have been pretty good too- Jack is getting tubes in his ears on Monday- but other than that they have been good!!!
I will try to post more frequently now- I am finally starting to learn how to use my iPad!

Happy Easter!
What a beautiful weekend! The kids were super busy! We had Chase's First Birthday on Saturday, followed by a family photo and dinner at Friendly's. Then on Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt at the church followed by dinner at Aunt Sally's.
Easter Egg Hunt:

We had a great Easter at Aunt Sally's. The kids had ham for the first time and loved it! I hope to post some pictures from Easter soon!

Time is flying!
I can't believe it is already April! The kids will be 18 months this month! That is half way to 2!!!
I have not uploaded pictures in a long time! Here are some from the 1st Birthday Party!

Here are some from Thanksgiving:

So since my last update, we went to the developmental clinic. We got ALL good news! Both kids are developmentally on track (if not ahead!) so we could not be happier!
We did get blood-work taken for both (suggested by our Pediatrician) and everything came back normal- great news!
We took the kids to the Philadelphia Zoo in March and they LOVED it! Thanks to Mim for getting us a season pass- we are looking forward to going back again and again:

Today I took the kids to brunch with Santa through the Center for Family Services. It was a lot of fun. Even though this was the second time the kids saw the Easter bunny, Jack was not impressed! Ellie on the other hand thought it was great!

Hopefully I will be better updating this blog! We have Easter coming up next weekend and a very busy few months. The kids keep Mike and I busy enough, without everything else going on! We are really looking forward to getting away for a few days to Atlantis (no kids!), we have the Ocean City Walk for Cole in May, cousin Charlie turning 1 (even though he weighs more than both of the babes!), and Aunt Laura's Wedding. So many fun things ahead of us!
I hope both kids continue to do well!
